TIFA Andina · CUSCO 2017

TIFA Andina (International Animation Training Workshop, for its acronym in Spanish) is a space for training and consulting projects in the field of creating quality animated content for children and young people (TV, Film and Transmedia), which seeks to promote the Latin American-Andean cultural imaginary with an emphasis on making them viable for production and distribution later.

The first edition of TIFA was in 2014 in Mérida, Venezuela. The main image of that edition was made by the Bolivian illustrator Marco Tóxico. He created and proposed some graphic signs and visual elements (like Llama’s character) that were decided to be adopted by TIFA permanently, as parts of the brand.

For the second edition of TIFA (Cusco, 2017) I was commissioned to develop the new main image of the workshop, keeping some graphic identity’s elements of last TIFA’s edition but arriving a big, significant, misterious, magic, warming, friendly and beautiful new place in the andean mountains of Peru (Cusco / Machu Picchu). After many, many sketches and tests this was the final result…

In addition, I had to develop all the visual identification, promotion, information and communication products of the workshop.
